I don't trust demos. I trust what runs on a Tuesday when no one is watching.

A demo is a performance. Everything is charged, warmed up, and pointed in one direction. Real software lives on an ordinary Tuesday, when the person using it is tired, the data is messy, and nobody is there to catch it if it breaks.

That is the only test I believe. Not the launch. Not the keynote. The quiet weekday where it either holds or it doesn’t.
